Ruth directed Series 3 of Ladhood for BBC3, written by & starring Bafta-nominated comedian Liam Williams, which received critical acclaim including  a 4* review from the Guardian which described it as "consistently great... this clever, moving comedy is completely satisfying"

 

Her comedic charity short starring Sex Education's Connor Swindells was a finalist in the British Arrow awards; she also directed Comedy Central's 6-part digital series Transaction, written by & starring comedian Jordan Gray, which won a Broadcast Digital Award for Best Shortform Scripted.

 

Ruth's award-winning short films and music videos have been accepted into numerous highly-regarded international festivals including the UK's biggest comedy film festival, LOCO, Bafta-qualifying festivals Aesthetica and Underwire, The Smalls, female genre pioneers Etheria, Hollywood Comedy Shorts - run by the Oscar-qualiyfing Hollyshorts team - and Citizen Jane in the US.

 

She is a member of female film collective Cinesisters and has recently been accepted as a member of Bafta as part of their new Connect  scheme.
