Whoever You May Be

Made on a microbudget during the 2020 lockdown, as a response to the Black Lives Matter protests worldwide, Whoever You May Be is a philosophical and wryly comedic short film about the assumptions we make about people, ideas of belonging, and the stories we tell ourselves.

The film follows an enigmatic black British man - who appears to be on his way home from a protest - who encounters a blustering, right-wing 'All Lives Matter' supporter outside the British Musuem.

The film was shot in a single day during the summer of 2020, outside the British Museum, which was closed due to the covid pandemic - for the first time during peacetime in the museum's history.
