Welcome to my page of physics fun

Cousin John's page of physics

Hello. My name is John. I come from Surrey. You may be acquainted with my cousin Neil, who studies Maths at Cambridge. Well, I didn't want to go to Cambridge and be made to ponce about with lots of minceing academics. I chose to study for a BTEC in applied physics at Huddersfield University, but I now live back with my parents in Surrey. I work for Fard and Wickmouth Building Society, but I design and make large mechanical structures in my spare time, in the hope of escaping from Fard and Wickmouth Building Society to become a designer and maker of large mechanical structures.

Welcome to my page of physics, a fun page for all those who, like me, love physics. When you study physics you get to learn exciting things about cranes and aerodynamics and the trajectory of a golf ball.

A word of warning to you all. I get particularly angry when phys-thicks (my own coinage, referring to people who know little or nothing about physics) use the word 'pivot' instead of 'fulcrum'. The word 'pivot' is blasphemous to the ears of all true physicians, and the only time it should be used is in dance classes, by silly little minceing ballerinas, or on a netball court, by silly little minceing netball players.

And now, the physics fun begins....
