You are looking at an absolutely stunning vintage tea dress with a fantastic ruffle design. I purchased this from a London vintage shop for a lot of money; so someone is going to get a real bargain!

When I bought this dress, the lady in the shop told me it was a 1940s teadress. I personally think it may be slightly later, probably latre 1950s, as the skirt is shorter than most 40s dresses - but in any case it's fabulous, so who cares!!

It is a beautiful design, with a layer of semi-transparent grey linen fabric on top, with tiny white poladots, and a grey cotton lining underneath. It has a fabulous ruffle design on the neck with cream edging. It is approximately a UK 10 - small UK 12 (American 6) and the measurements are:
Bust: 36 inches
Waist: 29 inches
Skirt length: 24 inches

It is in very good overall condition - there are a couple of minor marks on the ruffles; I haven't tried cleaning it so these would probably come straight out with a handwash or dry-clean. There are no tears, large stains or other major flaws. It's fab!

This is the kind of dress that looks amazing with a little pair of red vintage heels and red lipstick - don't miss it!
